YU's Centennial Dinner Celebrates Legacy, But Ignores Survivors
As Yeshiva University prepares for its centennial Hanukkah Dinner on Dec. 15, survivors who allege they were abused by administrators, faculty and staff at its high school decades ago remain sidelined. The event will honor major donors while failing to acknowledge the unresolved pain and injustice experienced by more than 50 former students. A survivor, in two recently published articles, calls this a betrayal of YU’s values.
